Bad news for Europe

Already in the 2012 crisis, this was the case. Organized crime is flourishing in the economic crisis.

Then NRK wrote this: "The countries hardest hit by the economic crisis in Europe are all 'worst areas' for organized crime. And it gets worse - the illegal economy grows even bigger and stronger during the crisis."

Europol said that these criminal organizations were already increasing their economic power and influence. They exploit the crisis and institutional weaknesses, and steal huge sums of income from the countries at the worst possible time. And the internet is helping them to do just that.
